About

Hey, I’m Gabi.

Today, I conduct UX research for Intuit, where I focus on prioritizing the needs of Latinos and mobile users for the product. I began my career at IBM where, in addition to my core work in cloud security, I also championed DE&I in our research processes and across the design organization. I’m a fervent advocate for human-centered, data-driven design and am happiest working on challenges focused on how we interact with the physical world and others.

I found my way to research while earning dual B.A.s in Design and Psychology (and a minor in Environment) at the University of Michigan. I’m deeply influenced by my vibrant, multicultural roots being born and raised in Miami, Florida, and express this through my passion for studying culture, as well as my efforts to promote equity and inclusion in research, tech, and education.

In my free time, you can spot me at the local climbing gym, hiking in the hills, or volunteering at the community garden.
